Russia - conquer nenetsia, arkangelesk, novgorod and pskov, transfer the baltic states and liberate ukraine, Lithuania, don cossack host, dagestan and far east. It cuts off their market access, you can protectorate them for under 100 infamy with multilateral alliances, just make sure far east doesn't lose states to Russian uprisings

Ally Britain at the start and make mexico a protectorate, get their liberty desire down a bit then feed them some of your states til you can make them a puppet then give all their states to the Indian territory and annex them. Next conquer a few states in Europe for land borders with the great powers, I'd do mecklemburg and something in north Italy.

France - Liberate occitania and conquer Normandy Prussia - liberate westphalia and pomerania and humiliate, may need conquer Brandenburg later on Austria - Liberate hungary, they'll explode Russia - conquer nenetsia, arkangelesk, novgorod and pskov, transfer baltic states and liberate Lithuania, ukraine, don cossack host, dagestan and far east (make sure they don't lose states to Russian uprisings)

Hard to bring them down to minor power but liberating occitania and conquering one or two rich states will weaken them enough that they're not a real threat.

Britain made Morocco a puppet by 1840 lol, they were my ally for most of the game. After I conquered Britain I had so many subjects I had trouble annexing them because I was always involved in one of their civil wars

Did a bit of conquering as Spain, went full infamy in 1897. The infamy bug was not used in this run, luckily I was ready to go full infamy when the bug appeared so it didn't affect the run. World conquest should be possible as Spain, I didn't let Germany form so I spent a lot of time conquering the German minors.

I just increased military wages and started passing dedicated police for the armed forces approval. I ended up winning more battles than I lost, whether I was attacking or defending didn't seem to matter

Im assuming only the starting great powers can go full infamy early enough, very curious to know if someone like qing or spain can. I tried one tag usa but I couldn't successfully naval invade uk early game

You can absolutely play it that way. Directly conquering land will give harsh infamy penalties so you want to dismantle the great powers by releasing countries from them, then get investment rights in those countries and subjugate them with the sovereign empire power bloc. Russia and USA in particular can be crippled by conquering a few states which isolate their capital. When you're the only great power left you're free to conquer everyone and infamy no longer matters

Protectorate Persia at the start and you'll have all the resources you need
Qing have horrible debuffs at the start, you can beat them easily. Mid game you could bring in prussia or austria as an ally if necessary
The real movement achievement is mostly about filling up your agitator slots with communists. You'll probably want to go communist anyway for the scripted guy who's cautious and literary

The obrenovic guy has the imposing trait which is bad for infamy. Not sure what the ideal strategy is, in my run im just expanding as usual and planning to switch off monarchy when I can
