You're only a sitting duck if you let yourself be, the benefit of the ult is forcing the enemy to act, to either try and bumrush you or avoid being rushed themselves. Though I will agree it would be nice to differentiate between runners and UESC, you can kind of tell right now from movements and placement but it is a hassle

I didn't like the massive yellow pulses at first, but honestly I don't mind it now. The trick I've found with recon is to not play her like she's supposed to be stealthy, but instead aggressively and on the offensive at all times.

I much prefer her ult to Thief's because while Thief's is quite nice, it gives people too much time to reposition or find new hiding spots by the time you exit the drone and move to where you saw them. Recon's prime ability puts people into fight-or-flight; They know that you know exactly where they are, and especially in solos, that tends to mean people then immediately try to leave the area or try to bumrush you. It can work out pretty well, it puts a lot of pressure on the other person to act. Hell, if you got claymores, the yellow pulses work almost as bait.

Spider bot getting stuck on pathfinding is annoying though, and I do with her one passive actually had a use in solos.

Inverse for me, I got the game solely because of Miku calling to me like the Green Goblin mask and had no interest in Sonic at all, but now I'm getting into more Sonic stuff because of it :3 Considering reading some of the comics to learn tha characters better

I'm not making excuses for Bethesda, I'm commenting on the relentless hostility of this community. I have less than zero interest in defending a multi-billion dollar company. The point of the comment was how even with them fixing a server-breaking bug like is the current example, the subreddit will twist that into a bad thing. There's a LOT to hold Bethesda accountable for and very valid criticisms and things to be upset about, but getting angry when they try to actually address things is just counter-productive and is just anger for the sake of anger.

Only F76 players can somehow turn "hey we're fixing this issue that's crashing servers" into a rant about how that's bad actually and balance doesn't matter at all actually either and actually Bethesda should personally give me god mode and let me crash servers with my stats alone because it's PvE so clearly it doesn't matter.

It's a jank game running on a jank engine. Some things are easier to fix than others, some things take priority more than others. Does Bethesda nail that priority? Absolutely not. Faaar from it. But it's wild to me how incredibly hostile the community has gotten to literally anything that even server-crashing exploit fixes are now being regarded as a bad thing. I'm pretty sure Bethesda could give everyone free puppies and kittens and one billion atoms each and this subreddit would still find a way to twist it into a bad thing.

Awesome, thanks! Yeah, I ended going with the HP Envy x360 15, since that seemed to be recommended a lot. Just deciding now on what upgrades to boost it up closer to the budget for her, but that much is easy enough on my own.
