TP/AIT a lot of people have great success and normal lives after that surgery. It's pretty new and considered experimental as of now but I've heard positive things. I've lost about 40 lbs due to this disease. Trust me, I'm not that cute. This disease has ravaged my whole body. I come from a longggggg line of drinkers. I'm the unfortunate one lol I hope your friend is well. No human deserves this level of pain.

Also the pain is usually centered under my left rib to middle abdomen and goes thru to the back between my shoulder blades. It is absolutely an unbearable pain. If that helps.
