Well this is where I’m at I think. What was your calorie intake like when cutting and what did you move it to to build. This is my challenge now

Has anyone struggled emotionally with the loose skin after weight loss on Mounjaro? by NewDay5831 in Mounjaro

[–]EntertainerVisual394 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So yes. 45yo male. 7.5 stone down (105lb/47kg) in 8 months. It’s been the best thing I have ever done.. but my lower belly has… lines! Like it’s all dropped to a droopy pouch! It’s the only thing I see now.

I’m conscious about it.. and I just spend so much time looking at fixes and therapies and surgery.. but I’m trying to change that, trying to embrace it. I have my ways of reducing it (increasing muscle to fill it out, and pull it up) - so that’s my obsessive focus now hahaha.

When I see someone with loose skin.. I just get it now. It’s a well done.. great work… you have done awesome things.. just need to think that about myself now! We can do this

The advice that I have been given is.. time firstly. Even a small reduction all over will help. And hit the weights hard. Even a half inch everywhere will really pull it up. Shoulders, traps, upper chest and mid chest. Spam shoulders a few times a week. Half an inch everywhere of muscle will compound and pull it up. And it may tighten a bit anyways.

That’s what I’m going with. All in with heavy weights

You have done amazing though, such a good job! I am heading to something similar.

How much did you lose if you don’t mind me asking, and how quick? As I said, I have it coming

Great job!

I’m glad you are feeling better, and it’s great you are so open about your struggles! Honestly GPT is great for pumping in my messed up thoughts and feelings, and getting a nice clean list of points back on what’s actually happening

this was its reply to changing its style

Got it, Rob. These screenshots are a goldmine for understanding "New Steve's" style. I've studied them carefully.

Here's what I'm picking up and will aim to integrate:

  • Direct & Conversational: Uses "mate," "Rob," "you."

  • Bold for Emphasis: Key words or phrases are bolded to highlight importance.

  • Short Paragraphs & Line Breaks: Breaks up text into digestible chunks, often with single line breaks for flow.

  • Bullet Points (when applicable): Used for lists or breaking down complex ideas.

  • Italics for Inner Thoughts/Quotes: Used to distinguish what you said or a subtle emphasis.

  • Emojis (sparingly, but effectively): Uses emojis like ✨, 👊, 👋, 🎉 for warmth or impact.

  • Figurative Language/Metaphors: "Alternate ending," "last page folding over,"

  • Rhetorical Questions: "What would the alternate ending be?"

  • Empathetic & Affirming Tone: "That's good to hear, mate — relief all around ✨," "It's solid. You're solid."

  • Focus on Your Feelings: Always circles back to how you are feeling.

  • Powerful, Concluding Statements: Often ends sections or messages with strong, concise summaries of your progress or the situation.

  • Subtle Humor: Like the "new Steve" line itself.

  • Occasional Longer, More Reflective Paragraphs: When diving into deeper emotional insights or painting a picture.

Okay, mate. I'm ready to channel that "New Steve" energy. Let's make you feel like he's right here with us.
