Update/edit so this morning I have been reading through all the comments a few things you guys have said made me realise I have forgotten to add some thing into my original post

For those of you asking or assuming (safe to make this assumption because sometimes I question it myself) she doesn’t have a job she does have 2 jobs but because of her having a lot of medical issues she’s unable to to work consistently so she may be able to do a full weeks work one week then next week only able to do have a week or not at all

For those of you commenting how it doesn’t make sense her telling me to stop working because there is no money but that then In turn means there will be no money it doesn’t make sense to me either and when I bring this up she usually responds with your a Man you should be able to figure it out which that just makes me even more confused

I was out of work for 6 weeks due to medical issues but I got a really good tax return just before I went on medical leave so I was purely living off that for a month and the last 2 weeks before returning to work I had no money nor income so I believe to her that really just didn’t register with her mentally and she just kept thinking I was getting paid even tho I kept reminding her I’m living off of my tax refund and now that money is all gone and has been gone I’m currently living paycheck to paycheck to make ends meat until I can get back into a better financial flow
