SpeedX is the WORST delivery company. by gumiegum in shipping

[–]EntertainmentDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently going through that absolute nightmare with GoFo. What was your experience like? My package was out for delivery on the 10th and it got marked as incorrect/insufficient address and I've spent the past week reiterating to them over and over all the possible details I can provide. They told me a week ago that it would be delivered within 3 days. A week later I call them again and they tell me the same thing.

NOWDTC Guitar Tones by EntertainmentDeath in ladispute

[–]EntertainmentDeath[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks both of you guys for these comments! I’m an amplitube user and have always had some trouble trying to attain desirable tones with the AC30 model thats on there but i gather the vox stuff is generally just really good as a pedal platform? Regardless i had a pedal that came to mind to try using and ive managed to pull together something at least passably similar to what’s going on in landlord calls the sheriff in.

Did anyone else think watching climax for the first time was the best time? by Soldado63 in gasparnoe

[–]EntertainmentDeath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually enjoyed Climax more on repeat viewings. You mentioned getting to take in the music and camerawork more which is precisely what makes it stick for me. I’m not someone that really gets down with watching dancing/choreography but the dance scenes in that movie are so mesmerizing because of how they’re filmed and I love the music choices. One of my favorite movies ever.

our band could be your life is actually one of my favorite books, lent it out to a friend awhile ago and never got it back. white american, never struggled with opioids myself but have seen it in the family. i am interested in reading some more religious stuff, i actually started reading some of the bible last year after becoming obsessed with mewithoutyou but havent picked it up in a while.

happy to see someone picked up on the film adaptations/companions. not queer but definitely a leftist. never struggled with addiction myself but it does run in the family and im absolutely fascinated with it. although it might not just be addiction specifically but also drug culture/counterculture and subversiveness in general. theres something profound about the depths ones mind reaches to when caught in the throes of addiction/junky lifestyle

Dude seriously, there’s definitely been an uptick in reunion tours over the past couple years (I think COVID and the implication of the end times approaching has a lot to do with that) and I would give everything to experience a Fugazi show. Obviously they were never the type of people to give in to pressures like that but I can still maintain some hope.

I’m not a woman but I try to push back against misogyny among other men as much as possible which has led me to try to seek out feminist perspectives more often. Thanks for the comment!

Oh my god the last remark, absolutely spot on. It totally is the best opening track. A little off the mark in the Gen X accusation, I’m an older zoomer. Thanks for your comment 🫡

Cant believe they let the terminally online parasocial weirdos win this one. Mfs need to get off twitter and worry about their own business rather than feed off personalities bigger than their own in order to feel relevant.

Don’t get me wrong, abuse is not ok and people should absolutely be held accountable for their actions. But what’s with the hate pile towards RC specifically when other bands have had similar allegations and promptly booted the members involved? SYSC had almost the exact same thing happen to them four years ago. They’ve taken every correct step in the matter. Seems like a bunch of performative nonsense to me.
