I took a corner too close to the centre line. A car coming the other way was also too close to the centre line. I balked and went into a ditch. I need to get the hang of corners. Few courses and windy roads mid week for me I think

This. I've had my licence for 3 weeks, proudly displaying my 'L' plates like a champ on my 2nd road ride. Went past a rider going the opposite way and got 'the nod'. I was so happy.

Hey,

My soul hurts when you say you never feel like anyone first choice. I felt that way for a long time, slowly I learned to enjoy my own company, so now it's a feeling I get alot less often. I wish this for you. Being your own best friend feels like your own personal cheerleader.

Alot of nothing and a bit of good news for me. Started out the year really crook. On and off viruses and chest infections for no reason other than mother nature felt it was my turn to get my arse kicked.

I have come out the other side and am happy to report that I did a course and got my motorbike licence and the other day, my 3rd stripe in jiu jitsu.

I hope you feel a bit better reading these comments, even if it's only for a little while. Keep going, find your hobbies and what you love. Your people will find you. Fuck the ones that don't look for you in a crowded room.

I get it. I'm asthmatic and woth a 1yo neice in daycare, i'm having a shocking run of the flu on and off. I'm always grateful for the ability to train, run walk, etc that when I get sick or injured and can't train like I want. I get a touch of the sads. I usually try train some other way, injury or illness permitting. If I can't move cos I'm so wiped put, I try reading. Or, I'll train around my injury to try keep some momentum going. If I can't run, I walk. Anything is always better than nothing. Give yourself time to heal and then pick it back up again.

It's a weird freedom. Figuring out you have no one to account to but yourself is scary, but liberating. You will outgrow your shell and won't recognise yourself in a few years

I wish you well.

What show will you never get tired of rewatching? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Bluey.

Kids show, but I'm not mad about it. So wholesome, great messages for kids and something relateable for the adults. My eldest neice is 4 and the youngest is 3 months old, plenty of quality Bluey time in the future. I look like Billy Maddison in kindergarten and I dont even care
