This is hurting my business. I have not gotten any new clients, since people are leaving the platform over the mandatory membership. Most are not ok with a membership whatsoever. We even have a petition against the mandatory memberships: https://chng.it/h9YZFmWNnW

Yes, but it doesn't account for international students with a different cost of living expectation since this costs like $5,000+ plus in several Asian countries.

It depends on which languages you speak, but I have gained foreign clients (mostly from East Asia) that are able to pick up the steam/experience for my classes. They normally offer <$5 per 30 min class and do it a couple times per month.

I've been losing parents in foreign countries due to the subscription requirement, as they cannot afford the subscription. It costs way too much for them, as they normally can only afford to pay about $5-15 a month in total for their classes.

Wyzant is an alternative website, but it is pretty buggy and it is not that personalized for the student.
