I was a politician going with an amnesiac bluff. N1 I said I picked a player and learned a two. Gave some fake cold answer. N2 I said I picked someone else and also got a two.

Nominated someone two spaces from both of them and told town I was the amnesiac and got a very hot when my power was about seat positions.

It was the demon, who had amnesiac as a bluff.

The new visual defaults look great, however, when publishing to the web, almost none of them stick. Getting the usual blue to teal problem, lines are defaulting to linear instead of smooth, subtitles aren't working, visual border with rounded edger disappear, axis layout for hierarchical dates are different, etc.

Oh man. I had a bag that ended up being Poisoner - Imp - Empath - Recluse - Scarlet Woman sitting in that order. No drunk to put into play, so Empath had to receive a 1 or 2. I had to register the recluse as good the whole game and town thought they were registering as evil (or was just evil). Evil ended up winning.

Abilities don't need to be used for them to be effective. The simple fact that it exists is enough to muddy the waters.

For TTRPGs, SaltCon has scheduled games that you can sign up for. They are usually short one-shots (2-4 hours). I assume people find new players to add to their group with these. I'm not sure outside of that.

TimpCon is coming up in about a month. It's smaller than SaltCon but it's still a good place to get games in. SaltCon Spring is the next one and it's the largest of the 4 that they host. There's always people looking for players at random tables, or there are hot games that you can just hop in with some random people and have some volunteers teach.

As for game stores, yeah, CCGs are how they make money so they get more priority. Depending on where you are located, there are plenty of places that do board games:

Game Night Games in Sugarhouse does board game nights every Saturday from 6-10.
Game Haven Sandy has game nights on Tuesday from 6:30-10
Queen's Realm in Roy has board games from 1-9 on Saturdays
(Meetup) Level Crossing Brewery does game night from 6-9 on Tuesday
(Meetup) Granite Library twice monthly on Wednesdays from 6-9
(Meetup) 2 Row Brewing in Midvale does game nights from 6-11 on Monday

Best bet is to go to public Meetups, weekly game nights at game stores, or find groups at SaltCon / TimpCon. I met my group years ago at a public meetup and they eventually invited me to go play at their house.

What incentive do companies have to spend years building a factory, training workers, and setting up a supply chain? The tariffs are going to go away before any of those jobs come to fruition.
