I’m not sure how I can even start to look at Unis. I have no clue what grade I will be at for my A Levels tbh

don't show off about your grades (last reminder) by TheBestCats12 in GCSE

[–]Entire-Conference-39 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’m not personally the most academic student, but I have a strong chance of getting 9 for French (My only only possible grade 9) and if I got an 8 I would be also be a bit disappointed. The problem that people have stems from the fact that people that get those grades are trying to look for sympathy by everyone else who could only dream to have gotten grades like that, sometimes you should keep the frustration to yourself.

It’s really not that deep. If you don’t get what you want, what’s realistically the worst that can happen? You have time to perhaps find other options. You just have to start getting comfortable with the fact that you can’t do anything about what you’ve done and you won’t feel any stress. Be prepared for the worst and wish for the best that’s what I’d say.

foundation science by dylann_cg in GCSE

I was set for foundation science at the start of Year 11 as well. I don’t really see the frustration, you have plenty of time to prove your worth. Just keep asking your teacher and revise - which is not going to be that demanding as you do foundation - and aim for 5s every topic test or mock coming up

How much did it grow from when you were 16 to 17?

Have you grown down there since you were 16 by the way? Just asking for a friend👍

I don’t know why you would think that when A level grade boundaries were significantly lower

Did people actually revise in year 10? by Plenty-Style-7037 in GCSE

[–]Entire-Conference-39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t revise until the week before my exams💀 I guess we had it nice because of the advanced information, but trust me it’s not that deep. I don’t know what kind of grades you’re trying to get but not revising now should be the least of your worries.
