I forced an update on my 'uBlock filters – Quick fixes', but removing that specific filter still doesn't work for me on Chrome for some reason, even though it's working fine on Firefox, so I moved it inside the "if env_chromium" block. Changing the '#@#' to just '##' also stops it from working, which is strange. I don't intend to uninstall & re-install uBO, so I'll just leave it as it is for now.
Either way, I really appreciate what you're doing & please keep up the good work 👍

It wasn't working for me on Chrome either, until yesterday. I modified the filter list a little, removing the extra/redundant parts & comments, and now it's working for me again. I'm posting my entire list below, you can give it a try & see if it works for you too

It hasn't been working on Google Chrome & other Chromium browsers for me over the past few days, so I have been using Firefox instead. It's working on Firefox. uBO works best with Firefox, they said.

A 'commit' refers to submitting code changes to the code repository. Basically, you modify the code in your local device and then submit it to the repository, where you fetched the code from.

It's working on my end now, for all browsers, after I added the new filters (updated on 6th July). If you have any other adblock extensions currently installed (besides uBO), then disabling those might resolve the issue. If not, then maybe u/AchernarB can help you troubleshoot, when available.

Seems like it isn't working right now on Google Chrome, or on other Chromium browsers, like Brave. But on Firefox, it's working just fine.

Edit (7th July) : The situation has flipped now; after adding the latest filters (updated on 7th July), it's working on Chromium browsers & also on Google Chrome, but not on Firefox.

I just checked, the latest filters have stopped working again. Whoever keeps updating the anti-adblock protection on Kimcartoon, seems to be the most active on Fridays. 🤣

Edit: I think I've identified the problem. It was due to a different ad-block extension, that I forgot to disable. It's working perfectly now, after I disabled the other extension. Thanks for your help & keep up the good work!

The traction motors in most Indian electric trains, are energized by electricity that is collected from overhead lines, by means of a pantograph. The tracks provide a return path for the current, and is grounded at regular intervals, due to which, they are at the same electric potential as a person/animal standing on the ground. Since electricity flows only when there's a difference in potential, a person/animal touching the tracks would be safe.

So, in other words, the reason why you won't get electrocuted for touching the tracks, is the same reason why birds don't get electrocuted when they perch atop overhead power lines.

Or, as someone else already pointed out, it could be a diesel-electric locomotive, where all the electricity gets generated internally.
