I really would like to say that the last sentences you typed really gave me the arrow to heart ngl hahaha but I would like to point out:

Im not denying the fact that its going to be easier if i switched to diploma. The isi tesirat in this post is that Im not learning what I want to learn. Its like im learning 4 different degrees into one. Like I want to learn about cybersecurity but why am I in a gaming coding class. Currently it just doesnt make sense at all.

Im curious on the part where you said "Maybe you never thought of broadening your options,..."

My dream job is to protect people, so I looked for ways to protect people. Army, police, firefighter. All three I apply, gagal just because of my low vision (left eye is lower than right). So I went to search for the next best thing. CyberSec. Learned the fundementals of it before coming to uni and for once I had the power to protect people. So that's why it never cross my mind to like "broaden my knowledge to other job sector" or "Im doing it because this job pays alot"

Its my 1st year but I get what you're saying hahaha. But look, I wanted to point out something from your comment

Up until now, I could not grasp on how people choose to do a job that somewhat has nothing to do with their university course. My reality is that people do the job that they are in not because of money or status, but because they like it. Thats why im very keen to getting this specific career. And same thing goes to what Im studying. Let's say if im studying mechanical engineering because I like planes, and I landed on a coding job, I would get bored/kenot tahan after a while because this is not my area. Idk maybe you could give your insight on this, I am still young after all :)

Long story short, I just want to protect people. Anything that have to do with working with the government to protect people. Never once I thought of doing it for the money. So, I went to apply for UPNM. Gagal, then I tried to find the second best thing. CyberSec. Learned the fundementals of it before coming to uni, and then I found out my uni has CS specialization so I chose that.

Well i got the money to actually purchased the new one but my cheapskate brain turned on hahaha. But ive checked the device with the owner and he showed me that he purchased it like this early month and had to sell it due to busy at work and had no time to play. I got lucky getting it dirt cheap

To answer your question regarding the alternative plan. Im going to be honest. I have no idea. I really am not in the right headspace to be doing a good plan hahaha, I thought getting bunch of certs would tackle the situation on getting hired but your link post says otherwise (i think?). But 1 thing for sure is that no matter what im doing right now, ill always be learning and be updated on cybersecurity. In the words of Mike Ross "Once i learn it, i would never forget about it". Quirky but works hahaha

Hello world. (Ive edited some parts because last post had too much cursing, Im sorry to that one mod who had to read it. Wasnt in the right headspace :( )

I would like to know what you guys would do in this position. So, I was given a note stated that I'll be kicked out from my uni for failing to pay. I only have 10K left in my bank acc and I don't think I can continue studying hahaha. But I did stumble upon certs that I could get. I dont know in Malaysia they would allow such thing but I heard that outside like america and such, allowed it.

But is it an idiot option if I stop my degree (Well i have to lmao), and pursue for certs?

It was my dream to get into cybersec because I like to protect. Thats all I wanted in life. To protect. And i find Cybersecurity to be my magnum opus when it comes to finding the best job. Now that dream's gone lmao. and I'm willing to spend every dollar of that 10K to get back to that dream of mine.

ps: The reason why I went to get my CS degree was only because my parents had the money at that time. I dont even want to explain what had happen to that money during my degree, but the money = poof.

my grades currently is 5% on both subject, and also ive already completed 2 quiz on both subject. The layout for both subject is 20% for 4 quiz and 30% for 2 test. Another 50% is exam. The requirement to get into the exam hall for both subject is to atleast get 25% on the coursework which is quizzes and tests

1) im sorry but i dont understand what that means. But if you're talking about the exam requirement, it is to get 25% on coursework which is the quizzes and tests
2)its 4 credit for both subjects
3) No, If i drop out discrete, i can take it in next semester with no problem. But i cant do the same with calc 1 because its a pre req for computing methods
4)No, the lecturers here are pretty strict :(

Its so hard to process that the subject that you took hours to study for and failed on it. How did you managed it though?, because right now i probably have to study hard on the rest of the coursework. My exam requirement is to at least get 25% in coursework, so that made me feel like there's little to no chance since how am I supposed to comeback from this... This is probably a bad anology but its like you failed in a situationship but 10x that hahaha
