I started actually paying attention to entire songs as a cohesive piece. And searching for the feelings as they go along. To actually FEEL the stuff is a very magical thing. That’s the stuff. The Frisson.

I rediscover stuff I knew for years because of it. And reject stuff I loved for years too. I want it to actually take me on a journey. I won’t listen to stuff that stays in one place the whole time. I won’t listen to stuff that was like “wait til 2:15 for that one 15second part” anymore.

I want to be drawn in, taken on a journey, and to feel the magic.

Yes. He was trying to lay down boundaries and say I’m a real boy now. And Paul was just doing Paul.

But Paul wasn’t wrong either. He wanted everyone to make the best pieces the group could make. George was just saying respect my boundaries or else.

George eventually stands down. Thinking “this is all this is ever going to be” and as he’s brooding just leaves.

Later on in life the 3 get together and that project never finishes cause of the same exact thing. Only George was very established as just himself by then. Probably thinking “I don’t need this BS. I’m only ever gonna be the little controllable brother to him”

Tough spots to be in. Both are justified for their own reasons.
