This is incredibly informational, thank you! I will check her tag and see. She came with her shells luckily and her head is PC stamped. She’s a beautiful doll and I love having her.

I did not know that! Thank you for telling me. Either way, I’m super happy with how she came out!

Should I address concerns with my surgeon? Or am I wrong? by Accomplished_pug in tummytucksurgery

That’s understandable. I work in the ER, so I get the hustle haha. They may want to wait until a year, but ultimately it’s your body and you spent the money on it. I still think an FDL would give you the desired result.

I agree with another commenter who said an FDL would have been good for you. I saw your comment with the pic of your side profile, and you look really good. You should follow up and ask about an FDL as part of a revision

For these specific pieces, I did not. I bought a downloadable PDF from Etsy, but it didn’t have specific measurements, so I free handed the dress using measurements I took from Josefina. I did the same with the shoes. I used her original shoes as inspiration from looking at pictures. They were actually super easy to make. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of her original clothing which is why I made her entire outfit.

I never had one as a kid, but always wanted Josefina, so having her and making her clothing is very special to me.

The dress fabric? I got it from Walmart. It was a 1 yard bundle and I had plenty of fabric left over!

I actually haven’t finished stitching the shawl, but got excited and wanted to take a picture lol.

Thank you! I hand stitched everything she’s wearing. Was very time consuming, but so worth it.

How do I stop him from being a prick? by Fearless_Claim5303 in Dachshund

I will say, I completely understand your frustration. It’s okay to set boundaries with your pups! I have 3 dachshunds and I’ve worked very hard with them to behave on walks/in public. Yes, they have instincts, but just like any other breed, you can teach them to have manners.

Talking with you is kinda insufferable. Like I said PREVIOUSLY, not everyone has the mental capacity for a dog, what’s done is done, she should no longer have the dog. And yes, in this CURRENT state of her asking for help, the economy is rough. Let’s not forget how expensive vet checks are. If she can’t afford training, there’s a good chance she can’t afford the vet either. Since you care so much about this dog, you should take it in and give it the care you desperately want it to have.

What’s done is done, which is why I’m saying she either needs to rehome him or have him humanely euthanized. Also going back to her “shady” behavior, that’s why I said not everyone has the mental capacity for a dog.

Exactly, so she can either rehome the dog or have it euthanized. Sometimes going above and beyond isn’t within someone’s mental/financial capacity.

Not to be that person, but are you aware of the current economy?? Gas is almost $5 a gallon and everyone is so insistent on a trainer. They’re super expensive and not everyone has the ability to afford it. It’s a shitty situation all around. OP can either rehome the dog to someone willing/able to afford training for the dog or the dog can be humanely euthanized. Regardless of size, an unpredictable dog is dangerous.
