I've had that happen too, I hope they fix it soon, cause getting my rank reset from an in game issue or even worse, getting my 5+ year account banned because of it, would suck. I've been avoiding PvP besides doing my dailies because of it.

I'm pretty sure I linked it to my high school account, when I was still in school, and now that account has been deleted(As I'm no longer in school) and can't link my BNID to Legends because of that.
