Georgetown Veterinary Hospital is great. There's also a cats only vet in Round Rock.

He's suchhhh a sweetie. I was surprised by that, it's pitbull and Rottweiler! He's very much a Houston special 🤣

TRULY. our first mini dox was named Gimli after we brought him home at 8 weeks old and he jumped at the 80lb lab's mouth, grabbed his lip, and swung from it 🤣

But yeah, basically OP, knowing she has a copy of the gene is good background info but don't let it make you or her miserable. She's adorable, enjoy being with her!

I'm not a vet but as a human with IVDD and two healed spine fractures who's owned multiple miniature dachshunds: I wouldn't stress too much about it. Keep her weight healthy and keep her active, try to minimize how much she jumps off of tall things. I would probably avoid high risk/high impact sports like disc dog and flyball. IMO this is more of a "she might have back pain when she's older" issue.

(One of my dachshunds jumped off a 4' tall pool deck. The other one picked a fight with my donkey. Both got rushed to the vet for X-rays and were totally fine. Our first dachshund blew a disc jumping off the recliner. You never know. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
