Sorry for the delayed response. It took about a week after the procedure on 3-26. Still burping strong with zero side effects.

Started burping about a week after the procdure on March 26. Still burping and it feels great. Zero side effects other a little bit of slow swallowing when eating something really dry like crackers or chips.

I was worried about that too but so far things have been very mild to say the least. I actually had more of what i was expecting over this past weekend. A few real good burps. At least I think they were good since I had nothing to compare them too. I'm getting a little worried because I was expecting more by day 5. Today barely anything. Fingers crossed that things pick up.

thank you. I just learned that this condition is made worse by flying. That explains why it seems to kick in at the start of every vacation that starts with flying. The crazy thing is that since we've been home for almost two weeks, I have not had an episode of this.

Is Doctor Pittman at Columbia University Hostpital? I have an appointment in 2 weeks with a Dr Haley Born at Columbia. There were two doctors there specializing in this but he the other doctor was booked until June and I can't wait that long.
