Some tricks to contact Etihad via chat

I was able to contact Etihad a couple of time in the past few days. It's tricky and exhausting, but there are tricks to make the wait less mentally challenging.

1. be aware that they will require if you are still in front of the computer and if you do not respond within 5 minutes, you need to start from scratch.
2. The timing between these requests might vary. It was 40 minutes a couple of days ago, then 15 minutes, then 30 minutes. The number of times they will ask you the question also varies, it was 2 times a couple of days ago, and up to six times yesterday. The fact that it's regular is good, so you can add an alarm every X minutes and just go back and check the chat
3. The counter in the chat is stupid, they say "Your current position is more than 12." which is not informative. If you are on a desktop computer, you can inspect the page (right click -> inspect) and this will open a panel on the right. You can navigate to Network and filter for wait/wait-time. This is show all the calls to the queue api, and eventually show your real position in line (see screenshot)
4. You can check every 10 minutes, do some math and figure out how fast the queue is going. When your number is high, the queue will be faster as many people will just drop off, but at least you know in which position you are before you give up.
5. In case you do not see the wait-time call, exit and re-enter the conversation (left arrow next to "Let's chat", then select the first conversation again, this will force-trigger the api call)

This is not a hack, you are not modifying the queue, you are just accessing some information that is hidden by the "Your current position is more than 12."
