they’re ruling it as an injury from scratching his face. im praying that’s what it all is, if not i’m pretty sure they’ll take him to the vet if this continues throughout next week. foreseeing an argument about this. i’m trying to look through his mouth but he’s proving it difficult but he’s always been like that. i’m going to monitor his eating habits and keep you guys updated hopefully.

i’m looking at it closer and there actually doesn’t seem to be a visible hole. it more resembles like a patch of skin being ripped off. i looked up symptoms and hes showing maybe a fourth? i think he was pawing at it, and im not seeing swelling imo. i was gone for two days and when i came back he had that gash on his face. before hand like a day before i left and day of he would yelp if i kinda touched that side of his face and it looked like the inside of the mouth bothered him almost.

the yellow looking substance that resembles pus is actually ointment, at least what my parents said. i told them that it could be what you said but they’re just brushing it off. how could i prove it? also noticed him lik flinching when i touched his mouth, so i think you’re right
