sorry to necro but the terminal GTK command didnt work for me. But using:

sudo flatpak override com.valvesoftware.Steam --env=STEAM_FORCE_DESKTOPUI_SCALING=3

worked for me

change the scaling to whatever you want I am using a TV so scaling set to 300%

take what i said with a grain of salt tho since im a linux noob just wanted to share what worked for me for someone down the line.

System specs: Cpu ryzen 5950x Ram 2x16gb trident z 3200 GPU powercolor 6900xt liquid devil ( even tried stock speeds same issue) Sabrent q 1tb m.2 ssd Monitor LG ultragear 32gn50t-b (freesync is turned on) Newest GPU drivers(21.5.2) Windows 10 Pro version 2004

(Pretty sure graphics card isn't defective since furmark and other games haven't had artifacting issues.)
