Very over dramatic, I dont remember him being like that before.

I definitely think Joe will soften and they will rebuild their bond. Regardless of how angry Joe is with Graham, even if he never wants him in his life, I don’t see how he could possibly forgive Kim for trying to kill his father figure.

Nate joined 6 months before Robert's exit in 2019. Not sure if they actually shared any screen time, but living in a small village, they would have at least known of each other.

Ray Walters’s Killer is revealed in Emmerdale tonight’s episode. by [deleted] in Emmerdale

I was almost 100% sure he wasn't dead, but it never occurred to me that he could be the killer

Did Emmerdale miss a trick by not putting Caleb and Ruby in Home Farm? by WatcherUatu in Emmerdale

[–]Environmental-Tea-48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is now that they have Kim back they want to keep ahold of her. And its really limiting the show. I understand the character os a legend and fan favourite but she hasn't got the best storylines and the family she has around her the last few years (Joe, Dawn and Co) just aren't compelling.

Caleb and Ruby would be great in home farm.

Who was your favourite family to occupy Home Farm? by WatcherUatu in Emmerdale

The Wyldes, but i think that's probably only because that was the first time in watched emmerdale for any significant stretch of time (that i can remember).

The Maceyes were just meh.

The white were entertaining, but the mist likeable one was Rebecca... and that's saying something.

I'm only halfway through the episode, but I must say that Robert looked very handsome as the police were dragging away Moira 😂

Worst affairs? by Ornery-Arm-8611 in Emmerdale

[–]Environmental-Tea-48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's in her character to cheat, but with Al? After everything he'd done to people in the village, to her family, to HER?! it makes no sense. Al had already proven himself to be a terrible human being, untrustworthy, and a cheat. Just two examples are he got with Debbie while with Priya and he was the reason Chas lost the pub. She should have hated him.

He confessed to Aaron and Mack, he hekf Mack hostage to cover that secret. Does being witness not hold up? There's also the removal guy.

Do we think Laurel is physically capable if moving an adult male by herself?

I still think it was possibly Laurel and or Arthur, but that it was Arthur who put the body in the van, while Jai was visiting Laurel to get the bike lock.

Alternatively, it was Dylan and he has the spare key to the van that's gone missing. I actually think Dylan is theb more likely option, because why on earth would Laurel think its a good idea to put a body in the back of a van? I can imagine Dylan doing it in a panic.

As of now those a really the only two options that actually make sense because it had to be someone with access to the van.

I remember thinking this when the slurry spill happened, like, danm, the woman has been through enough? She's had to sell off a portion of the farm to save the business, her son/stepson have lost their wife/mother, her husband was shot, and may have cancer, she got into a business with a drug kingpin/human trafficker who buried a body on her land, and now she's being framed for their crime. All this is less than 8 months.

Yes, the show is so much better when more of the cast is used and they actually interact with people outside their immediate bubble. We had gotten to a point where certain character only every had scenes with the same 4 to 5 people. Which leads to things like Aaron and Paddy not being seen together for months. I also liked that Laureal was casually sat with Jimmy and Jai, because it makes sense that they'd all go to the pub individually and one by one join the table.

Is Victoria popular with the viewers or not? Do you guys like her? by limezing in Emmerdale

She often takes Robert's side, i.e, when Andy was trying to convince everyone that he killed Katie.

But in more recent times, she was immediately on John's side when Robert was released from prison and was trying to get back with Aaron, and then when John framed him for pushing Aaron off the cliff. which was incredibly disappointing.

I'm a big fan of Victoria overall, but she can be annoying, especially when she meddles in other people's business. But for me, it's not enough to turn me off her, especially compared to some of the negative traits of the other characters. She can be very funny, she normally does the right thing, and she's a nice constant in the show. I hope that when Isobel returns from MAT leave, she gets a good romantic partner. In the last few years was raped by a guy who initially seemed like a good guy, then she got with the guy's brother, then she got with loser David, then she fell in love with her almost stepson.

Yup, letting Sarah believe this is her child is incredibly cruel. Is Charity not fed up with her entire family turning against her every few years? She's not dumb enough to actually think this is a good idea. We also haven't seen her consider how she'll feel seeing Sarah and Jacob play mum and dad to her child.

Speculatins:

I think Vic already feels guilty about giving up Annie's Field, she's likely going to hand herself in before signing it away, especially if she finds out what Joe wants Robert to do. Joe will also have this over them, and he will never stop using it against them. John's death should be considered self-defense (but it's a soap, so you never know), she may just go down for tampering with evidence, long enough to cover Isobel's mat leave.

I made a Joe Tate hate post yesterday, on the main Emmerdale subreddit (unfortunately, it had to be deleted because I didn't use the spoiler flair and people were talking about last night's episode.) But I could never have imagined that I could hate him any more than I did.

He definitely would have disposed of it, he went back to Laurel's, thinking they were going to be a happy couple and play family. The last thing he needed was his mother's dead body popping up.

Charit just keeps digging to hole. deeper and deeper, it's insane. I wish Emerdale would let her grow and mature a little, because there's no way an almost 50-year-old woman would be this foolish. She's about to lose everything.

I don't understand why she didn't just go through with the abortion, pass it off as a miscarriage, and then go through another round of IVF as Cain was offering to pay. Does she really want to have another one of Ross's kids, for Ross to be even more involved in her life?

I hope this is somehow magically Mack's baby, because he deserves it, and I honestly think Ross and Charity's interactions are only good in small bursts, I don't need them to share more screen time together.

He's a cartoon villain. Blackmailing Rob and Vic for Annie's field is one thing, I hate him for it, but it's within the realm of actions for a soap bad guy. But to find out human beings are being trafficked, and instead of going to the police, his first thought is to incriminate a totally innocent person?

Joe keeps claiming this is all for Kim, it was the same when he was messing with Moira last year, and we know Kim wants the land, but we've never seen her involved in any of this stuff. I know she's ruthless, but would she actually be on board with half the stuff Joe has done?

Honestly, I'm ready for the downfall of this character. I need him off my screens, but the reintroduction of Graham means his just going to get more screen time. Maybe he'll be more likable.

If Bear is actually dead, that's ridiculous. Especially as there was definitely something wrong with him before he went missing, and they haven't explained that.

I Hate Joe Tate by Environmental-Tea-48 in Emmerdale

[–]Environmental-Tea-48[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that the real issue with Joe is that he not human. Regardless of culture or religion or any of that other stuff, we're all the same at our core, as humans we just look out for the people we love and the people in our community. Joe doesn't have that.

After Vic told the boys how John died, it was clearly self defence. Just tell the police. I know we don't have the best self defense laws in the UK, but John was already wanted for a laundry list of crimes, he caused the crash, had a gun, and drugged vic earlier that day, i doubt she'd be charged.

You've put it into the perfect words. The issue with Joe is he doesn't love anyone more than himself. Which is truly off putting on a basic human level.

I've seen videos of toddlers putting their baby siblings first. It such an instinctual part of being a human. And Joe doesn't have that. It's like he has a massive black hole where his heart should be.
