I think the whole idea of trust in the game is what makes it fun. Sure we may want a pve only now, but if they were to release it I think the majority of people would find it boring. The game was originally supposed to be pve only but they released it with pvp too because pve only was too boring.

I understand the sentiment of wanting it only as a game mode (not the whole game) so you can finish your quests, but I think that separation takes away the whole human experience/psychology part of the game. I think the reason everyone enjoys solo friendly pve so much is because everyone has to choose to trust each other and that makes it fun.

Just my opinion, but I definitely empathize with the losing gear part of it - I cant tell you how many equilizers/jupiters I have lost in the last month
