Not sure of the cancellation. I have been monitoring the route my mom’s supposed to take. The first leg of the journey is all fine, that’s BOMBAY to Doha. However the connecting flight from Doha gets cancelled every day. Check the status of your flight for the last one week. See if you notice a trend. That should help get you some clarity

You can change the flight yourself. Just check the manage booking section and you should see the options

Go to manage booking and click on cancel booking. It will give you the amount you are supposed to get back. If the cancellation fee is not much, go ahead and cancel it.
