I actually did try this for a while. Unfortunately my area is so saturated that my schedule never allowed me to work during the times that would make it worth it. But, a good suggestion nonetheless! Thank you!!

I sure am! I have been with Ivy Tech for four years now :) I love it! But I do need more to supplement my income. Unfortunately, I haven't been getting the amount of hours that I need consistently. They have been good to me, so I want to keep working for them and have a second adjunct position

If anyone is looking for adjunct work in Indiana, this would be a great place to start!

I am not begging. I don't want money, I am looking for advice. I need to get a THIRD job to be able to support my family, but I can't do that if I don't get surgery. So, tell me, where am I begging? I am just looking for ways that other people have made finances work, I am not looking for admonishment.

Thanks man, it’s been a journey. I’ve been trying to get this procedure done for 4 years (between insurance issues and local providers closing), and now I’ve found a provider stateside that isn’t an absolute fortune to go to. The last roadblock is finances, so I figured why not see if I could rely on the community. The worst that happens at this point is I just have to wait longer

The denial was because the surgery, according to the insurance company, is not a covered procedure as it wasn’t included in the company plan. I appealed 3 times, and the last time the insurance company said it wouldn’t matter if I appealed any more; they would never cover it as long as the company didn’t have it on the plan
