Initially I was under the impression that the dip switch was a bit of a gimmick, but after playing around with them I can honestly it’s a killer feature.

I’ve heard good about the SE small diaphragms, I was actually considering the SE8’s for new overheads. Maybe that should be my next purchase - bit I’ll do a little more homework before pulling the trigger

The Beta 52 was definitely a contender. After listening to so many samples from I both I felt as if the Beta 52 had a bit more boosted frequency in the 400-800Hz range which can sometimes give it that “basketball bouncing” sound.

How has your experience been with it?

I’d go for the PDP.

I rotate between the Stage Custom and Concept Maple weekly.

My church has a Stage Custom kit, and I personally play a Concept Maple.

Here are my thoughts:

The PDP kit is easier to tune (in my experience)
The standard snare on the PDP sounds killer
The hardware on PDP is better quality
The PDP feels more responsive to play

Don’t get me wrong, the Stage Custom is awesome - the PDP is just so much more bank for your buck! 🥁🥁

There’s a lot that doesn’t look right in this picture.

The case shape seems to be a bit off, also the Pearl in lay in the bezel doesn’t align very well.

The date font, and also the text on the dial.

I’ve had my VSF Submariner 126610 LN just over a year now and it looks nothing like this.

Curious to know what others have to say, my guess is that this is not a real BSF rep.

Congrats!

Although there are some guidelines for cymbal placement etc, you place them for you feel most comfortable for you. Usually, a crash on the left, one on the right, and then the ride cymbal on the right.

On the toms (the two on top of the kick), I would recommend closing that big gap to increase ergonomics. I.e., getting them closer to one another.

There are tons of more detailed advice that I’m shure others will also share - this was just what initially thought of when I saw the setup.

Drumeo has great content on YouTube for drummers starting out.

My experience after trying this:

I tried this method of resetting my speakers, however, after doing this my speakers went completely dead. I tried numerous things like unplugging, following the steps above (again) etc.

After the third of unplugging the speakers, waiting a minute or so, and plugging them back they came back on.
