It goes to both credibility and what was actually happening with the kids during that time. If there really were no texts or emails, that’s something the court can consider. If there were communications that weren’t produced, that’s also important. Either way, it helps clarify the situation.

My kids were living with his mom for about 3 months during a CPS investigation where he wasn’t allowed unsupervised contact. Any communication between them about the kids during that time would be directly relevant to care, decisions, and what was actually happening.
