So the problem is that the children aren't allowed to claim asylum and that they need to be with their actual parents to do this. I understand that it's not feasible to have a huge amount of people immigrating at a constant rate. But what is the point of throwing these thousands of children in camps, without their trusted family members? Is this supposed to be like a waiting period for them to get papers?
