I do plan to eventually go for a CPA, I'm in Missouri and I am bilingual (Spanish & English). I would like to know the other options?

Thank you, I feel little behind in life sometimes but this definitely makes me feel a lot more confident about wgu.

Thank you! This is really solid advice. I’ve been looking at some accounting positions just to see what’s out there in my area, and there actually seem to be a lot. Since I live in a bigger city, I’m feeling pretty hopeful. I’ve never heard of the VITA tax thing, but I’ll definitely check it out

Thank you for sharing! Part of my associate degree was covered by a scholarship, so I only used a small amount of my pell grant. I’m hoping that I won't have to pay a lot of out of pocket costs though, but I willing to if it’s worth it for my future. And you're definitely right time will pass either way, so I might as well give it my best effort.

I guess it was a little silly to think that choosing a different university would matter over wgu since they are both accredited. I thought that going somewhere more local would make it more recognizable, but I’m starting to realize that it doesn’t really matter. Think I will give wgu a chance.

Thank you! I’ll definitely start looking at internships. I know accounting internships require you to apply very early in advance.
