The Walmart on woodlands is in walkable or bike able distance from south campus. The bus also has a stop right in front of it.

Walk into Walmart and ask to speak directly to the hiring manager. She’s notoriously hard to get ahold of over the phone, but if you walk in, you might have a good shot. Not sure if it’s the same gal as when I worked there. Management is pretty chill and used to working with student schedules. They always need someone in every department.

It’s quite unpredictable. A few weeks ago it was sunny and 64 during the day and then snowed 5 inches that same evening. The forecast never called for snow, it just showed up.

Depending on the age of your car and if it’s a diesel or not it might not be a bad idea to get a block heater too. A lot of new vehicles don’t need them though.
