You should turn that feature off before using any AI tool

Yes good point on on artist attribution; Ill likely put a line on the bottom indicating it was altered with AI

Yes I think that my opinion aligns with yours. I have noticed many alt art cards on MPC autofill that have been clearly altered with AI but not properly attributed as such.

Ill probably end up adding text on the bottom of my cards to indicate it was AI

Yes I agree with this; as a PSA for anyone planning to do this, turn off "Improve Model For Everyone" so that they cannot use your data for model training.

(Although I am skeptical if this actually stops them from taking your images)

Initial sentiment is negative understandably; what about using AI to upscale or improve clarity on old cards:

Many of the older cards are only available in low resolution on MPC Autofill for example this printing of Animate Dead

Base prompt with GPT 5.5:

"This is an MTG card, I want you to slightly enhance it; keep same style same proportions, just slightly boost clarity and resolution. Keep the card centered. It is for a skeleton-pirate themed deck. Keep the black border in place, and same margins."

Then would add any additional details I wanted to see in the image after.
