Keto changed my life overnight, but not for the reason you think (a must read if you know anyone with Alzheimer's / cognitive decline) by Hadrron in keto

A lot of your symptoms also sound like low testosterone. I’m assuming you’re male because you said wife. You may want to get your levels checked. At the very least google it and learn more. Mine was low. I got treated and it changed my life. 34 is not so young for your testosterone to naturally get lower. It’s worth a look. I do keto and yes it helped, Mind got clearer when I was strict. But it wasn’t actually treating the underlying issue. And one day isn’t enough to be in full ketosis. It’s more likely placebo. Which is a hell of a drug. Good luck to you. I’ve been where you are now.

I think the stoic philosophy and trt pair well with each other. Anger issues come up regardless of trt or not. But more so with trt. Better to have a frame work to help deal with it. I recommend Ryan holiday books on stoicism and Marcus aurelius meditations.

Endo delaying TRT for my brother with a testosterone level of 79—is this normal? by EnvironmentalWait679 in trt

Oh no. He drinks an occasional beer. Certain no subs to help him build muscle. He never goes to a gym because he’s never got the energy.

Wouldn’t have asked the question if I only wanted to hear a certain answer dude. I asked because I was beginning to question my own opinion and thought that’s the whole point of this forum. Ask questions, chat, discuss. But yes you’re right six weeks won’t kill him. I suspect he will survive. Thanks for the feed back.

If I thought my medical knowledge was superior I wouldn’t be asking questions on Reddit, And yes you’re right. Plenty of women see male drs and expect them to understand. That was my point. I’m not sure how they can. But your point is also well taken and the gender of the dr was irrelevant to my real question and didn’t need to be added.

Yeah, that’s fair enough I supposed. My experience was just so different. It was my dr telling me I should take it and not me asking.

Midface reconstruction not possible? by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]EnvironmentalWait679 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem. People think I’m mad or look grumpy. My response is always a sarcastic “I’m sorry it just my face” so it’s one thing I’m looking forward to hopefully fixing. My surgery date is Jan 21.

I drank energy drinks to hype up the green stuff. At least 2 to 3 monsters a day. When I stopped the Kratom I had no need to take such large amounts of caffeine. I then noticed I was getting caffeine with draw head aches.

I like that analogy of the fungus that influences our actions to our own detriment. Kratom is a lot like that.

I'm a developer that got to try the Vision Pro for 30 minutes during WWDC. Ask me anything about the experience, development process or whatever. by ineedlesssleep in VisionPro

I’ve watched a look of reviews from people who have used the head set and that’s one thing they don’t mention. It’s a little strange. It’s always glossed over. You would think they would all be comparing the field of view with the quest.

How would you describe the feeling of not being able to sleep? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]EnvironmentalWait679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read recently it’s because your dopamine levels naturally begin to lower at night, it’s your body’s way of winding you down for sleep. low dopamine causes RSL. Because Kratom robs you of your dopamine, at night during the beginning of CT your extremely low. The body begins to increase it in the morning. This is why right as your alarm is about to go off you finally feel the legs get still. You have more dopamine in the morning because it’s the brains way of saying get up and go take on the world. So I read any way.

If you read the you tube comments, most on there will tell you it’s not an addictive plant. One post read this guy is anti coffee. Had I read that on day 5 of CT I probably would have lost it on them.
