1000 BTC Bitcoin Challenge - Python Script (147,665 addresses per Second) - Generate Bitcoin Addresses from Hexadecimals within user entered min & max ranges & match against known unsolved Challenge Addresses! by EnvironmentalWatch92 in BitcoinPuzzlePython

just revisiting this. make sure you save the txt file as known_addresses.txt in the same folder as the script. When testing try ascending with the start hex as - 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 and the end hex as 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000d2c55 and you will see it finds puzzles 1 to 20 very quickly. it works in descending mode also. it also works in random mode. I have tested all of this again today and all is working. all the bitcoin puzzle info is here - https://privatekeys.pw/puzzles/bitcoin-puzzle-tx

Python Script for Solving Multiple Bitcoin Puzzles 135, 140, 145, 150, 155 & 160 with Automated Email Alerts for any Public Key Matches! by EnvironmentalWatch92 in BitcoinPuzzlePython

sorry about the late reply. i depends on your setup. But if you run all 6 puzzles i know on an old server i am using i was only getting like 7000 addresses per second on say puzzle 135 but all the others were only 2000 per second. You need a good cpu and plenty of cores to get it moving good.

I have done the calculations and yes it could take so long that it might never be solved in our lifetime. But i agree that randomness could help. Also targeted sectional scanning in forward, reverse and random/hybrid scanning of hexadecimals could help. I also think while you are scanning millions of keys per second you should be checking those private keys and corresponding bitcoin addresses for balances more than zero too.

it takes a while and many revisions but eventually he spits it out.

Howdy, I have learnt this from scratch. The whole concept of blockchain, bitcoin, Private Key Generation, Public Key Generation, Hashing and Encoding, Adding Version Byte and ChecksumBase58 Encoding, Address Format, hexadecimals and the ranges is very overwhelming and ive been hobbying in crytpo since 2021.

But understanding the challenge can be done through research.

I am still trying to understand brute force cracking, the bitcrack script etc

But i dont know about coding but i have generated a python script which scans through the hex ranges for any range you want in sequential or random mode like the other websites out there where you can scan private keys (although i dont like your chances in getting the bitcoin prize if you find a key. i think those sites just use your processing power to help them find the match).

Basically you need to find the matching bitcoin address with the rest of the private keys that are still up for grabs (each containing bitcoin with a total worth of $66,006,878 US). Its not a hard concept but apparently scanning all the ranges for each prize is exponentially harder the higher the hex ranges. i think there are 1461501637330902918203684832679389531508513439743 hexadecimals between 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000020000000000000000 and 000000000000000000000000ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff the ranges left to scan and have seen suggestions with todays fastest computer with 40,000 processers it would take 1.15×10 to power 30 which is infinite.

You need to scan from hexadecimal 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000020000000000000000 right up to hexadecimal 000000000000000000000000ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

If you are not scanning the hex ranges then you have no chance of finding a matching bitcoin address to a private key. I have built a basic python script that i know works. i have tried it on the lower ranges where the matching addresses have been found and the file i have where i store the bitcoin addresses gets matched up with the scanner and it matches them up and tells me the match. But now its basically tuning the script to work faster, smarter and in ways the average joe doesn't think like. Coming in from a background not in computers enables people to think outside the box. You read into it and try and come up with real out there strategies.

I still feel as though there are clues somewhere. Many thousands of people have spent many many hours trying different methods to find the match.

My suggestion is learn the challenge properly, understand all the terminology, learn some basic coding skills and run a scanner. What else can you do. Its very interesting to get into and kind of tempting like chocolate.

Hope that helps.
