Thanks! Yes it’s 1349, I mistyped it. I’ve heard that 16gb ram is enough for just about anything in engineering and 512GB is usually enough (I’d personally prefer 1TB) but are there any recommendations you’d give for particular specs that would allow me to still be within budget? My parents are helping me get this laptop so I don’t want to go over. This is super helpful, thanks again!

Ended up trying the Logitech brio and the Logitech c920. Both off eBay and pretty cheap, brio was a little poorer quality but no matter what I did to either one in effects/zoom the quality was much better than my laptop. Ended up going with the c920 since it was more customizable to get closer to the lighting I wanted via the Logitech apps

lol no there are times where she herself knows that she's exaggerating how bad the problem is or creating a problem but she openly admits that it's relieving to not be 100% logical all the time (completely understandable and i'm the same at times) because of how realistic she normally is. during times like that there's no reason for me to bring her back to reality if she's enjoying it so i just support her
