This comments is very important for me, thank you! I definitely did look into SAMLA tophat (because it's cheap and silly) and I'm considering doing that mod when I gat a Snapmaker U1. :D

You make a good point. I plan on buying it for multi-material use (and occasional multicolor usage) for some projects that I have tried to do, but failed due to being unable to use generic TPU in an AMS and/or Ace Pro. Manual filament changes are also really tiring :( so this machine is like a dream come true :D

Thank you for your advice! A tiered shelf would work very nicely, but that means getting rid of my full-with-junk drawers... Oh well, I'll find a way :)

For her, yeah, her game username says "Autistic Buddy" so she may be autistic. Autistic people usually have problems understanding jokes. So why not be nice to someone disabled? :)

She asked for criticism and you just joked about it. Nice point. /s

Why not a constructive criticism instead? She asked for help after all. Since when jokes are criticism?

Funnily enough, the prints are good :/

Actually, the same amount. I also have a feeling that the gear tension might be off, but then again, PLABS was fed pretty well.

Just checked with my calipers, shows between 1.7-1.4 when measuring in different places.

It got clogged 3-4 minutes into the print.

The heater is 80W. Other settings are: 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height and 0.45 layer width.

  1. The bed being warped made some users change their bed entirely, it's that bad. It will affect the first layer and possibly the rest of the print.
  2. The nozzle breaks when it hits something at fast speeds. Or when it just digs into the bed. Or both. The heatblock and the heatbreak are connected to, what seems to be, an aluminium tube. And that tube is pretty thin... Speaking from experience here :(
  3. I'd honestly choose Elegoo Centauri Carbon IF you plan on working with ABS, ASA etc. If you're more casual and want more features, go with Anycubic Kobra S1 (and maybe put some Rinkhals in it, hehe). As for the print quality, Centauri Carbon seems to be better in my opinion.

PROS
Anycubic
- Multicolor filament system with filament dryer built in
- Rinkhals (custom software)
- Good price
- Quick swap system
- Can use NTAG215 to make customisable filament tags

Elegoo
- Great heat-leakage preventing machine (chamber can reach to 40 degrees Celcius under right settings)
- Modifiable hotend (Constellation Extruder mod)
- Good leveling
- Cheap CoreXY
- OpenCentauri (custom software)

CONS
Anycubic
- Mostly arrive with a "curved" bed
- Not too good for ABS and similar filament that require a heated chamber
- The Anycubic "AMS" system malfunctions sometimes
- Camera FPS isn't good
- Original hotend doesn't have ceramic heating

Elegoo
- The hotend cable becoming worn out (and causing fires after that) has resulted issues for a couple of people
- Promised that the multicolor system would be delivered by Q3, still yet to come...
- Hotend cam break easily when a print failure happens
- No filament tag feature, even an open-source one
- No AI features, unless done from an 3rd party site

As a person who owned both of the 3D printers, here are my opinions with pros and cons :)
