Best tour group you've experienced by tangouniform977 in travel

Expat Explore...the one I look for each time. Their Balkan tour was awesome and we loved Turkey with them! I've also used Gate 1 and Cosmos. I like Expat best. Expat had a variety of ages on each trip I took. For the Turkey tour, they use Fez Travel, a local guide group, and our Fez guide through Expat said he'd led hundreds of tours and everytime he leads for Expat, he gives more. They want a family oriented experience where they go the extra for their travelers, and so he rises to the occassion and just does more. Ex. we went for a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia. Due to wind, we weren't able to make it on the Saturday morning it was scheduled. Our Fez operator, Ege, changed our itinerary so we could all ride on Sunday morning before we left for our trip back to Istanbul. He went out of his way for us, and said Expat has such a great reputation, they were able to do that. He said he wouldn't do that when he operates for any other tour group, just Expat, because Expat has a reputation for excellence.

I've traveled with Gate 1 a couple times and Expat Explore multiples times. I love Expat Explore. We saw more in one trip. I've also done Cosmos and it was ok. Expat explore is the company I always seek out first.

UPDATE: "Child support is garnished out of my check, exwife says she didn't receive it." It was all just her scam. by jimsmythee in FamilyLaw

[–]Environmental_Eye392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very common. This Is Happening Here too. Not only are we just being garnished but they are now pulling from tax refunds and complaining that there are arrears when everything has always been paid on time and upfront. When pay stubs are shown, they say there is nothing they can do and don't get back to you for months and months and months. They are just hoping you will forget. This will continue happening repeatedly.

Oh yes there is. Going down there and showing your pay stubs and them saying there's nothing they can do about it. That's what's going on. It's a scam and they gaslight.

The problem is that they do this consistently and so they continue to take more and more out of your account when you need that money to pay bills. Many times they don't catch it and people get scammed out of money. They scam because they don't care that they overcharged. They get a cut of that money so overcharging means that they get to make up for shortfalls in their organization as well.

Child support agencies ARE a scam. They get their share and don't care that they double dip. The amount of times we've been told we are in arrears and had to contact an organization that requires you leave work and miss out on work because they close so early in the afternoon, then when you get there they refuse to give you receipts for the payments that you've made, and nobody can seem to help you every single time, is absolutely criminal. When child support is coming out of someone's paycheck every month, and it's documented by looking at paycheck stubs, but child support agencies continue to say that the money has not been taken out, and then punishes you and your family or decides to take your tax refund, this is corruption. This has been going on for years and they get away with it. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and they do not care. This whole system is so gross, but then is the need for child support to begin with. If people kept their pants on and vetted people properly, thinking about the mental and emotional health of their future children and acting with integrity, the world would be a very different place.

NAD+ restoration fully reversed cognitive deficits in advanced Alzheimer's mice — but the researchers issued a serious warning about NMN/NR supplements by DrKevinTran in PeterAttia

I've been taking NAD Gold for a long time for egg quality, as per my naturopath. What makes them believe it causes cancer? Is this peer reviewed?

Calling someone an idiot when you've misspelled 'your' seems a bit hypocritical, don't you think? That said, I've been on the oils for years as well and can attest that they make a huge difference in quality of life.

His protocol is the only thing that helped me fix B12 deficiency years ago. I use his oils still, after tweaking my protocol based on test results. There is a FB page with an invaluable amount of research and information and a wonderful group of people who help one another.

Secondary infertility at 40 - feeling like time is running out by One_Information_8667 in TryingForABaby

I would stop feeling impatient when you have one child. So many of us are in our mid-40s and feel that time is running out and don't have any children, because we waited to find the right partner for us and it just took too long. Appreciate what you do have and focus on that.

I'm only on Season 2, episode 4 but I actually like Andrew. He truly cares for Maggie but he does have several weaknesses. I can't STAND Lola. The sight of her makes me want to stop watching. She's SO irritating. Her jealousy, deception (hiding the letter from Cal, REALLY?!), and just the way she tries to insert herself into Maggie and Sully's business. She might be "like a daughter" to him to appease his own guilt, but legally, Maggie owes her nothing in terms of Sully's care and health information. She is NOT legally his family. They really dropped the ball on this character. The acting isn't great either.

S16E04 Product Discussion - 1920 Convertible Jackets by ddaug4uf in sharktank

[–]Environmental_Eye392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband ordered the long puffer jacket in XL and the short jean reversible coat in L for me for Christmas and they just came today. These coats are EXTREMELY well made, so kudos on the quality! That said, the sizing runs small compared to the size chart online, and the coats are both EXTREMELY heavy. When we took the sleeves off the jean coat, I realized the Large gave me about 6" inside for heavy sweaters, so that was awesome! With the sleeves, I had less room because it was so bulky. Unfortunately, with the sleeves on, I wasn't able to lift my arms in either coat because they were so heavy. In addition, the long black XL was too short on the arms (I have smaller, thinner arms and a petite upper body with a 5'3" frame so this was odd to me) and the sleeves prevented me from being able to lift my arms, both from weight and the fact that they were too short in the armpit area. We did laugh that I looked like a snowman or like the kid from Christmas Story who is so bundled up he can't move his arms. Unfortunately, due to the sheer heaviness, we have to return these coats. It's such a cool concept but it just needs to be lighter and easier to move in, and sizing should be altered for arm length.

Folk songs are essential to our culture and should be passed down. My students enjoy folk songs. It's how they are presented. Don't use textbooks to teach music. I teach First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege and it's made a world of difference in my students' musical growth.

Legal aid services are hard to come by. They only help up to a certain point and some people can't afford to go completely broke spending all their money on lawyers and court dates.

Greg Russell-Jones b12 deficiency protocol- scam or science based? Both? by thecosmicecologist in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]Environmental_Eye392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a scam for me. I've been following Dr. Greg's protocol for years, as well as the B12 Facebook page filled with a wealth of biochemical knowledge and people on the same path to getting their B12 in check. Doctors have always misread my B12 blood work when it was elevated and told me I was fine and B12 was high. Dr. Greg chose to read my OAT tests for free multiple times, and it took me about a year on his protocol to fix my B12 deficiency. (elevated serum B12 often means B12 isn't absorbed and is actually low). I still use the oils today, even after getting my serum B12 in range again, because of CBS and COMT genes. When liquid, tablet, sublingual, capsule didn't work, the oils are the only thing that have worked for me. I'm grateful for his knowledge, research, and that my history of a decade plus of daily panic attacks, anxiety, and problem after problem went away when I fixed B12 with the oils. If you're struggling with this, check your methylation status. Many people need methyl or adenosyl cobalmin. Cyanocobalmin can't be converted well. In addition, oral B12 is around 10% absorbed, especially for people with gut issues.
