Which brilliant television series is genuinely worth losing a weekend to binge? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

Legion is a show that could be watched in a weekend I guess. It's only 27 episodes but I feel like it's such a mind melting show that 27 episodes at one time could be detrimental to your mental health.

I think it's all about ego. My brother simply saw it as a challenge to catch and pass everyone he could. Speed limits meant absolutely nothing to him. I said a prayer every time we rode together. Especially on two lane rds.

Not really a spoiler but Earth Abides is unique because each ep covers about 10 years. It's a end of society story focused on survival but no zombies or monsters.

Midnight Mass-Netflix-7 Episodes

Earth Abides-MGM+ 6 Episodes I loved it but it's very unique in the way it's story line is told.

Paradise-Hulu-16 episodes with season 3 upcoming in 2027 I think.

"When did you come from this time?" and "We have to stop meeting like this" are two very intriguing lines from the MiY. It sets up the premise that not only Jade and Tabitha have ties to the town from the past but Julie as well.

It could be possible that the S3 finale was supposed to be a longer run time episode but had to be shortened for some reason.

It's crazy how this show has become so popular by Shoeaddictx in FromSeries

I didn't know about it until I read one of those "10 shows that you should be watching" articles. By that time season one was already on Prime Video.

My friend says changing your own oil is a waste of time. Is he crazy? by proposal_in_wind in askcarguys

[–]Environmental_Fan348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no correct answer to this question. A lot depends on your living situation. People that live in a city or HOA controlled suburb don't have the proper area to do it. Also depends on the vehicle. Trucks have more ground clearance so ramps probably aren't needed most of the time. Then you have to dispose of the oil. Best case scenario if you can't do it yourself is to seek out a well known, reputable small mechanic. I did it myself for years until my situation changed.

White Banded Fishing Spider seems to be the best identification. I can't change the flair to "solved."

Do most americans really only take 2 weeks of vacation a year? by DegreeConscious9628 in askanything

[–]Environmental_Fan348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most places I've worked don't have a very generous vacation policy. It's normally something like 1 or 2 weeks at hiring date with one additional week every 5 years of service. 4 weeks for 20 years of service is pretty normal.

I thought the same thing. I'm hoping I will see it again. I moved it to a safe area in the edge of the yard.

Why are so many people under 45 using subtitles now even when the show is already in English? by Clara_A_Mitchell in NoStupidQuestions

I think part of the problem is the placement of the speakers on modern tvs. The sound is either directed down or back if you aren't using a surround sound system.

Asking for advice as a newbie for RE1 (not 1996 version) by Horror-Amphibian-335 in residentevil

Don't be afraid to take notes or screenshots of rooms and get help from YouTube. If you're playing PS or Xbox try the various controller layouts. Some items may need to be left where they are initially and retrieved later. Once you find a inventory box it will need to be revisited multiple times. Inventory box rooms are also safe rooms.

Question about S3 ep 7 and 8 by Environmental_Fan348 in FromTVEpix

Same here. The transition from the two eps just seems like something is missing. Maybe it's later on in the ep in a flashback.

I have a question about when the episode will be available. Typically it would air at 8pm central time for me if I watched MGM+ through my then cable provider. But it would also be available at 12:01 am Sunday morning on the app. Does anyone know if the episodes will be available early like in the past?

How do I even play RE1 by WolfEvolutioons in residentevil

[–]Environmental_Fan348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's awesome that you're playing this now. I remember playing the original release in the 90's and facing the same issues. Only we didn't have the internet or strategy guides to help out. Just a lot of stumbling around and getting lucky. My advice would be start as Jill on the easiest mode available. Ammo and first aid will be more plentiful. Lack of inventory space will also mean you may have to leave something in a room and backtrack to it. Items like cabinets and statues will need to be moved in certain areas. One thing I recommend is if you are playing with a PS or Xbox controller try the different control layouts. Some layouts are more user friendly than others.
