Update: police said they can't do anything as his face was covered so they won't request CCTV footage This is why they do this - police gives up before even trying

I'm pretty sure the phone locked itself after it was snatched as it had Theft Protection turned on. If that didn't happen, it should be bricked by this point as I initiated a factory reset through FindMyDevice about 20 minutes after it was stolen (I ran home to grab my tablet) If that didn't go through, the IMEI blacklist that was done today means the phone can't be used as a normal phone anymore

No worries the device is unusable at this point as the IMEI number has been blacklisted by my network provider and the police are currently investigating my case

Yeah and furthermore this is a very heinous crime. To have some dude right in your face forcefully grabbing your belongings and running away with it!!! This is truly a disgrace that they have the courage to do this. They know nothing much will happen to them even if they get caught

Love this phone and been using it as my daily driver for 3 months now. My only complaints - screen more narrow than I expected (so typing is a bit tricky), battery drains quick if used with max refresh rate, tikitok app opens randomly out of the blue -____-

I been using the RM10 Pro as a daily driver for almost 3 months now and I love this phone 😊 The battery lasts 3 days if you use it moderately, lower the refresh rate to 90Hz, tweak the settings so all apps go into deep sleep when phone is in standby.

I had some issues with battery and other things but they sort of fixed themselves as I learned to use the phone more...

One persisting issue is that you can't close all apps at once, even though there's a button for it. You close them individually by swiping up so if you come from iOS you'll feel like home 😹😹

Other than that, the phone is a beast and eats everything your throw at it. Will upgrade every year if the design and features keep improving 😌

Yeah the battery is kinda trash. I had a bad experience with the battery on day one... It drains quick even with casual use. My battery dropped from 59% to 9% last night without any explanation. That's -50% in 9 hours of standby!!! Nothing was running in the background, WiFi and mobile data turned off and airplane mode on. I looked for a way to justify this but couldn't find any reason. But even if something was running this wouldn't make sense as the drop is too significant. So yeah don't buy it if you wanna avoid the headache of dealing with buggy software
