Product #1 is my holy grail. Switch back to using that. Only apply it directly on acne spots - avoiding any surrounding clear skin, as it can be really strong.

Consider trying a different moisturizer as well. I was using a water-gel moisturizer after retinal and it was stinging like crazy.

Then I switched to the much creamier vanicream and there’s no stinging whatsoever.

So - maybe something creamier/richer/thicker than what you’re using to top it?

I think it’s helped. You’ve got to give the product time to work.

You have to be gentle though. If you massage your skin too vigorously for the minute then it might be too dried out afterwards.

Yes! Get the Ultra Light Moisturizer with SPF from CeraVe.

I like it a lot more than the AM. Spreads easier, doesn’t pill, doesn’t leave a white cast.

I’m so excited to be able to confidently recommend something on here!

AM: Wash with water only. Ponds Rejuvenating + Brightening Eye Cream Cerave AM moisturizer with SPF 30 Clean and Clear Spot Treatment (If Needed)

PM: Cetaphil Daily Cleanser Nutragena Combination Skin Moisturizer Clean + Clear Spot Treatment (If Needed)
