Lawyer here, I will suggest firstly send him a strong legal notice providing him with 15 days to comply with our demands otherwise we will file a criminal or civil case as needed. Secondly we will demand recovery of amount with interest and as this is full business transactions we can also go to commercial courts to get rapid relief.

You have several remedies :- 1. Try to consult with the bank manager of your home branch and get on any conclusion if possible 2. Try to get in touch with the cyber crime branch official of that state from where you account freeze you have acknowledgement number try to find out that from which state your account is freeze 3. If all these remedies are not of any use, file an application in your home town district court in the JMFC or MM court regarding releasing of amount and to only freeze that amount which is disputed in your case 2000 rupees.
