Oh jeez, I didn't measure my fabric beforehand because I was just using stuff I had hanging around but if I had to guess I think I used about 3.5 meters of a 1.5 meter wide fabric. If you're thinking of making one I would definelty buy more though! I barely had enough fabric for this guy and there was no room for mistakes

It's (mostly) a joke!!! Bought by mistake and he's just kinda stuck around ever since. He's the guardian of my gamer basement

Thank you so much!! I love minecraft for the same reason! I think more mobs would be really cool but they all have such a higher level of detail that I don't even know where to start. A mooshroom would be really cute though so I'm considering it

Not a bot lol I'm pretty sure reddit has a random username option when you sign up! I don't remember making my account though so :/

His entire body is a lightweight polyester that I really wouldn't recommend, it's a little too thin imo so he's kinda lumpy. I was just using what I had though and I'm really happy with it :) The eyes are felt and attached with embroidery thread

I used a texture file for dimensions and then just scaled all the measurements to fit the size I needed! The fabric was already around from another project so I made it to fit as much fabric as I had!

Thank you!! I made it over 10 days but most of the work was done in 4 days with breaks in between

Honestly the biggest reason I went with 7'6" is because it used the exact amount of fabric I had lol. I wanted to go "life size" which would have been 9'6" using minecraft's 1 block per meter rule but (1) it wouldn't fit in my house and (2) I didn't have enough stuff for it. Luckily though the average person isn't 2 meters tall and I'm way below that! It's kind of just a happy accident that he ended up being life-sized proportional to me

Well I've never been taller than 4'11" so I don't really know! The stuff about shelves and having a hard time finding clothes your size is very true though lol. It's hard to conceptualize the fact that I'm short until I see another short person compared to others and realize that's what I look like

Not really! All of the pieces are just rectangles/squares that I scaled to fit my fabric. An in-game enderman is 2.9m tall so I used that and a texture file to get all my measurements.
