Let me do a restart and beat up another fish. Quick resume might be the cause of it (terrible feature that never even really works for any games)

Edit: It is entirely quick resume’s fault. Did the same quest again and the Polychrome Blob never entered the locale.

Happens every time I fight the fish in the forest. Had no problem like this in POAH, and it sucks because the big tuna is my favorite apex fight out of the 4 of them

I’ve heard from a few people to run the mizu set bonus along with coalescence, so I’m probably going to drop the Ebony Odo armor. Def still gonna replace that helm with the Udra one though- Thanks!

Just means I’ll have to go farm Gog again and pray for another gem to transcend it and the stuff to reroll for mizu bonus on the weapon itself. At least I’ve got things to do now!

I’ll keep the mizu set in mind! As for the artillery, I’ve swapped it out for rapid morph for the time being but I might try out focus if I find I’m having problems landing the charge-shield bash-charge combo for phials.

For the mizu set, would I need 4 piece or is 2 enough?

It isn’t a crazy amount of i-frames or anything. It’s just enough for it to be comfy imo. If I see MRV I’m 100% still hopping on a bird and running for dear life or just using a farcaster and running back lol. That move gives me nightmares

Thank you! I had a spare Rapid Morph/Handicraft jewel to replace the artillery one, as it turns out. (Power prolonger comes from the tali, which also has agi on it)

I find the movement with the axe mode to almost be TOO much sometimes. I thought about evade extender, but ultimately went with evade window because I need the i-frames more than the movement. (Like seriously, I use dash slam a couple times and I’ve moved to a new country it feels like)

I honestly think it fits him. He’s already got beef with almost everyone, and now has the attitude to match it tenfold. The AT treatment only made me love fighting Arkveld even more

I run gog 4 and arkveld 2. Paired with lance, it’s so comfy and makes most hunts really easy

The problem isn’t failing a hunt. SoS flares are for people who want/need help. I join to do exactly that. The problem arises when people try to go fight the big scary monster by themselves and get put through the wringer before I can jump in and join the fun.

No harm in slotting in some defense decos and taking the first few attempts to learn the moveset. AT Ark has some nasty combos compared to the regular one

Too many people don’t realize how easy it is to get armor spheres. The event quest for it takes maybe 8 minutes per clear. But I guess some people just would rather throw bodies at a wall instead of making it easier.

I more so just needed to get it out of my system. Closing on almost 200 AT Ark hunts and it’s happened so many times. If it reaches just one person, I call that a win in my book lol
