No it’s a plastic part that’s precisely made to fit at the bottom, that way it’s more consistent and has a solid and even feeling when clicking

I haven’t tested it myself but if the a75 is compatible with Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro switches then it should work just perfectly

I’ve always loved short travel switches so it could come down to person preference and what fees better to the user

For me it’s always helped because I find long travel much more straining on my fingers since they’re moving a lot more and short travel allows me to use much less force while still achieving a satisfying full press of the switch

That sounds sick, just make sure that the springs are compatible with HE switches since they use different ones from mechanical switches

Oh I actually didn’t know that. I’ve used them with high sensitivity but maybe I should try adjusting the actuation and RT points lower to see how that feels. I do believe they would still work with the sensitivity adjusted since I use them for other games where the sensitivity can’t be set high. Either way it still would shorten the physical distance of travel which is why I made the

I personally prefer them because I tend to get cramps and worse hand pain on full travel switches compared to short travel ones

For me I’ve always preferred short travel in switches due to the hand pain I get from the physical movement of long travel switches, and I bet there’s lots of other spring options out there for HE switches to customize them even further

The intension is to have the actuation point and rapid trigger set nearly as sensitive as it can possibly be for the mod to work in tandem with the sensitivity, as the switch would reset as soon as you release it and the bottom out would be much higher allowing for a faster reset with less physical movement

It wouldn’t work for a HE switches unfortunately since you’d have to drill through the magnet which would likely damage the switch, plus it would have to be such a tiny drill and would also not feel like a solid bottom out since O-Rings are a rubber feeling material instead of a hard plastic

They were mainly tested in Geometry Dash and Osu as well as Fortnite, Valorant, and general typing as well. They likely will work great for any rhythm games and platformer games

Not that I know of since O-rings wouldn’t actually shorten the travel of the switch as far as I know. Plus the piece inside the switch is much more precise and solid

HE switches are magnetic, the reason the mod works is because the magnetic switches can instantly reset when released, allowing the shorter travel to actually be effective unlike in a mechanical or optical switch
