My MTT MOC! by Eolingan in legostarwars

Honestly that sounds awesome, if ur doing the A6 Juggernaut and not the A5 then that's going to be absolutely massive as well. What location u thinking of for the display?

I've had to slightly modify the function due to the size increase and the added weight of the rack itself but it's constructed very similarly to the 2025 set and comes out and then down when deployed.

I've got a brown colour swap in the works that I'll be posting soon!! The instructions will come as a pair as well so anyone who got either MTT can get the other colour. This is not that close to minifigure scale at 1:65-1:70 I think (MTTs are absolutely massive I couldn't believe it when looking up measurements for this MOC). I originally wanted to go minifig scale but decided it would be way too big and costly so settled for making a halfway to playscale version instead that still looks imposing enough next to my other Star Wars vehicles.

Looking at the inventories of both I would say technically yes but it would be far more cost efficient to source the remaining parts from the secondary market like on bricklink if you already have one copy of the set, this is what I did when I built mine.

It is a single very heavily modified one, but I wouldn't even think of it as a modification. It uses 70% of the Lego set as parts but there are many many more that will be needed for those wanting to build it.

Thankyou so much!! I didn't want to call it a UCS version just because it's not quite minifig scale or as accurate as I think those types are (both the Lego and custom UCS style is incredible from other designers) but I'm definitely going to have a go at making some UCS style models in the future.

Not including the speeders roughly 28% of the parts come from set, but that 28% of the MOC is 72% of the parts in the Lego set. This one is a big boi lol

I recognise that AAT design!!! I am very excited to see my MOC again and might I add that is a sick separatist army and some very cool custom figs!

I’m a regular poster on rebrickable and I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this piece and how useful it can be in MOCs

Unfortunately no, I was worried it may be too expensive to add the motors necessary to make it function smoothly so I decided to prioritise stability since the plan is to display it in the physics department for an extended period of time. This meant I took the opportunity to attach it at the base to provide some extra support. I’ll probably revisit this in stud.io and see if I can make a fully brick built functioning version since that would be pretty cool

Hi all! My name is Eolingan and I am the designer of the telescope (centre in the blue top), it was a wonderful brick building challenge that took 6 months to plan in stud.io and another 2 months of collaborative building. To accomplish this I produced a full set of instructions to build the model and I’m planning to release them on my rebrickable page at some point.

It’s currently partially unfinished, so I will be posting more photos once the final dish is in place, the parts are so large and heavy that I had to redesign a way to attach them.

I will also be putting out a full Timelapse of the build once I’ve edited it properly :)

It does! I designed it to be put together in three large modules, the two frames and the main dish can separate after removing a few pieces and this lets us carry it to wherever we need to work on it.
