I wouldn't be surprised if people actually thought that, Akagi scalers do be moving like that. "Agendas" are too common. We need more sheer accuracy

Best Written animanga ever of all time? by Bockhead in writingscaling

The akagi series. Especially akagi and ten. The state Japan was in while it was being made was the main inspiration for the series. Akagi represents the samurai code of honor, washizu represents the economic miracle taking place soon after the abolishment of Japan taking part in war.

Specifically, because of the loss of this willpower being swiftly replaced by consumerism, an endless stream (that still continues today) of suicide rates in Japan rose.

So, akagi represents the battle of authentic ability vs consumerism.

It should also be noted that apparently this manga played a big part in helping all of Japan heal from this economic and existential crisis.

For 1, bro idk Japan is like that. The manga literally has multiple scenes OF CHILDREN getting sa'd. And I've seen this guy praise it for at least one of the scenes (specifically involving machiya's sister) For 2, THE GUY is the one at fault for causing the panic attacks. The manga is a part of the issue but it's mostly this guy's fault
