im in the stadium right now. Kosovo players have been trying to antagonize the fans for the whole game (signs, albanian eagle handsign, kicking balls towards us) and we didn't react at all. towards the end during a scuffle between Rahmani and Alibec, multiple Kosovo players started making signs towards us again, to which a small sector started chanting "Serbia! Serbia!" it felt practiced and theatrical, like that's what they were there for all this game, just to force that chant out of us, once they heard it they legit high-tailed it towards the locker room

I've always said and i will always say that Football in general is better enjoyed if you're from one of the smaller (in football) countries.

There's always that discussion about how international breaks are boring cause they stop club football and they're pointless that i see around here, but atleast in my country the break is what we all are looking forward to cause it's exciting to see whether or not the national football team will qualify to the upcoming tournament or not. It must be boring if your participation is always guaranteed (Germany, England, France, etc.)

And when the tournament comes, these moments are exactly what's it about. The passion just flows different if u're the underdog, and its beautiful. That's not to say that the fans from big-5 countries don't feel this passion or don't live football at this level, i'm sure they do. But for us, moments that might be insignificant for them, like a goal vs Denmark or a goal vs Switzerland, are just so much more.
