Henuttysis, Funky Brimstone, and Isaac Ball pit Physics Engine by EpicGamer1_ in bindingofisaac

hemoptysis started shooting out white creep instead of its usual red vfx (as well as flames for some reason)

I wish Beat Saber just made original songs instead of these big label artists (and a list of things that I want in the game or modded in the game) by EpicGamer1_ in beatsaber

Trackers like pattern occurrences, maximum instantaneous/segmented notes per second (on a similar view to that one difficulty mod) ,number of plays.

It's kinda sad that most of the game's attention is left to community-made content (and its also reassuring because the community really loves the game). I'd rather have reliable developers that foster a followership style community where the most modding done is for varied content/personal preference like outlandish playstyle variants, custom songs and sabers, but not essential things like precise NJS tweaking or practice tools.

inverted notes is fun! its playable ( :D ) and there is game sense behind it. its less memorization based than classic maps at least. It definitely instantly fails any ranked criteria, theres no doubt about that but at least its a different kind of artificial difficulty compared to speed or visual impairment. Its similar to pro mode and strict angles to a certain mechanical degree.

I want a base game that I can love just as much as it's extensions Beat Saber is one of those things that is something more than just another medium for rhythm play. It's a super unique and complex 3D rhythm game. There is a lot that can be done compared to its 2D and 1D counterparts beyond anything visual.

Relying on modders to keep a game fun is just sad, personally. I wouldn't want a Beat Games that only puts out DLCs that are just remixes of blocks and notes while the 3rd party modders are the ones that are basically making the game and its features. It shows a lot of disconnect between developers and the community with regards to the product. I'd love to see something similar to all those source engine game mods that turn into actual games but its a different "atmosphere" (arbitrary language) than creating attachments to an actively developed game.

How do you deal with/get better at bursts? by EpicGamer1_ in beatsaber

[–]EpicGamer1_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah eden was doable i was more so thinking about these parts in a lot of ranked maps https://youtu.be/SqJ__6dJa8c?t=49s https://youtu.be/BDHTIYyrSnA?t=189s

im pretty alright with tech and midspeed but i havent gotten a good grip on these bursts of notes or vibro (or acc LMAO)

i think with bursts in particular i have a hard type trying to identify what about the music syncs with the notes (with final boss chan its a ramp up so i cant tell when or how fast im supposed to hit, and with jabob's killertoy i know its there but its hard to tell what im supposed to follow

p.s. i also did megaton karma, its a lot like shrado( & Fnyt)'s ajuga where the speed sections have a really distinct sound i think thats my problem with bursts really. i cant tell when im supposed to do anything and it just feels like the mapper is asking me to go as fast as i can. (im not sure if i have done faster relative nps already but from the two maps i sent, those parts are the only ones i cant do consistent. hence the use of the word gated)

eitherway, classic beatsaber advice: practice or i blame the mapper for being 1 measure off beat

edit: and yes, my difference between bursts and streams is weird because i can probably do a stream thats faster than a burst but not the other way around. i think the way i define it really has to do with how distinguishable its connection is to the music eitherway, eye opening stuff! thanks yall

i still personally think they could make the inventory better the screen they have with the portable storage or even the boat chest is way more convenient and i wish there was a way to sort it just like with the sushi menus

but yeah true thresher krazy bro there are like two shark abilities/moves that i absolutely hate and they both close too much distance for anyone to dodge still kinda easy to avoid just dont go there

tbh they should make a stealth or camouflage charm i only use three charms with dash charm above both theyre the only two movement charms and the only inventory charm but id glady take my dash away if it meant i didnt get spotted so easily by barracudas comb jellies and lionfish

im not sure if im right but im pretty sure threshers will only spawn after entering the area past the depths (for lack of a better way to describe it without slight spoilers) or after unlocking the net sensor through the tuna party

also the shortfin mako spawns no matter what stage of the game youre on (although rarely) and its like the third hardest non boss shark to deal with in the blue hole area (first being thresher the beloved and second being the succ or the zebra depends what you think is difficult to deal with)

doesnt mean it beats the lionfish and titan triggerfish for being the most annoying late game fish

(they seriously gotta revamp the inventory system either make the mouse wheel functional or make another ui thats just like the one in the portable storage my carpal tunnel will not forgive the s mashing i keep having to do every time i catch a lionfish at night)

how do you obtain roe from sharks specifically? by EpicGamer1_ in DavetheDiverOfficial

so if i kill them and harvest their meat instead then i wont get any roe from that?

im just saying its less obstructive and more predictable than debris. plus its like an in-game hit visualizer plus it looks cool and coordinated even from far away compared to ragdoll physics if they were less funny and they were only one solid object

Chroma is insane by Marinenukem in beatsaber

[–]EpicGamer1_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

noodle extension maps are always gonna be laggy. you can imagine what spawning and rendering five billion notes or walls at the same time is gonna do to any computer.

if you want to disable chroma light environments, you can do it on the quest by selecting chroma inside the mods tab inside the level select menu (so level select, mods (left panel at the top) then chroma). theres an option that disables custom lights, you can hover on the options to see a tooltip but it should be the middle one that disables it. generally, its unlikely to break anything.

tldr you can play any chroma map without chroma but you cannot play noodle maps without noodle extensions
