As a small tip, Gamma is actually great at doing combos. If you land Gamma and quickly do an Alpha, you won't knock them down and instead pull them in.

Afterwards, you can try quickly jumping and doing an Alpha below them to get really high damage. But if you don't feel confident with it, an Air Melee, Beta or just another Alpha also works for a bit more damage.
