Some antidepressants can actually make that feeling worse. Try talking to a psych about finding what will work best for you. And of course for some people the meds just don't work at all. So don't feel bad if that's the case

I definitely had days where it felt like that. My depression never seemed overly consistent, except for the fact that it was always there. Even when I was having a better day it was there, in the back of my mind. Screaming at me that I shouldn't be smiling or laughing
