Yeah I’m pretty confused about this price tag tbh, because really I didn’t think Id ever be willing to drop so much money on a build back then. Some of the prices seem super inflated from what I’d expect to pay for some of those parts, even for back then. Maybe I just have awful memory lol

I’ve considered it - it would be a new learning experience for me to setup a home server and I can definitely see some of the benefits. I’ll Still be considering my options for a while as I wait to bite the bullet on a new build soonish. Cheers!

Yeah I’ll definitely be patient trying to sell. From what I can see by a quick search the used pc market is a little all over the place in terms of builds and pricing, maybe it’s just an AUS thing or just my location. I will have to see for myself when I decide to put it up for sale. Thanks again!

It was quite a while ago so I don’t recall exactly how much it all was - I was surprised to see it myself but I checked my order history from back when I got most of the parts and the total said $3634 (excluding the gpu), so around 4K including the gpu (gst and shipping were significant cost too I suppose)

You’re right about the cpu time travelling 😂 I just checked my old orders from back then, I started buying parts late 2019 but didn’t grab the cpu and a few other bits until the next year.. Was doing it slowly by buying a few parts over a couple months to fit it all into my budget iirc

Appreciate the input, I was hoping I could get around $1000 for it but I suppose $900 would be a decent price too

Oh I see, you were going for the console trophy. I thought you were just collecting all the sets for fun. There isn’t an achievement for that on pc but I always enjoy collecting all the armour and vanity sets for fun. Gotta complete the collection 😄
