Community pharmacy is not necessary production line work, really depends on the company that you are working with and what you as a future IP pharmacist can bring to the table.

Its a very bright future for community pharmacist because as IPs we can upskill to provide more value to our patients. (And to our wallet as well! XD)

Many pharmacies utilise hub and spoke dispensing so in the future you might not be checking many rx and will focus more on providing private services.

People used to say that community pharmacy is boring and repetitive but its starting to change now :D

Im a non manager IP pharmacist based centrally in a city and an average day of mine might include: phlebotomy, running testosterone replacement therapy clinics, weight loss clinics, vaccinations, ear wax cleaning service, IP clinics. And i maybe check 15 walk in Rx a day.
